Aro Rantila (AroKuu)

The artist

Aro Rantila (AroKuu) is a Finland-based artist who loves storytelling, especially through sequential art. They specialize in visual development and comic making.In their work, Aro has an emphasis on depicting emotion and atmosphere. Fantasy settings and LGBT+ themes are especially close to their heart. Recently Aro has put their talent to use as a visual development artist, conseptualizing and creating characters, creatures, backgrounds and promotional art.They're currently working on their own graphic novel Café Mode. Their previous publication is the comic series Guncats (Action Lab Entertainment, 2018). In their spare time, Aro volunteers for Zine Fest of Helsinki comics festival to help keep the art culture strong.(Previously known as Rosakaz, Aro now works under a new alias/handle, AroKuu)
